Skills Development Administrator

The AIDC EC aims to recruit an Skills Development Administrator on a Temporal basis ( 18 Months contract).

The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager: Aftermarket Skills Development.

The AIDC EC aims to recruit an Aftermarket Support Administrator on a permanent basis.

Project Manager: Investor Support

The AIDC EC aims to recruit a Project Manager: Investor Support on a fixed term basis. The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Manager: Component Suppliers and Investor Support


Purpose of Position:

The Project Manager: Investor Support is responsible for oversight, managing, and implementing multiple investment projects aimed at attracting, facilitating, and supporting investments within the Eastern Cape automotive sector value chain. 

This role focuses on building strong partnerships with stakeholders, managing the Investor Support Unit’s operations, and driving business development initiatives that promote investment growth and collaboration between investors, local suppliers, and OEMs.

Service Desk Administrator

The Service Desk Administrator provides essential remote end-user support, acting as the single point of contact for all supported applications, infrastructure, service requests, and changes. 

This role is responsible for managing the service desk, ensuring efficient ticket logging, and providing first-line support while escalating unresolved issues to the relevant specialists. 

The position is vital for delivering excellent customer service, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Process Engineer (x2)

The AIDC-EC aims to recruit 2 (two) Process Engineers on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report directly to the Specialist of the Sub-Unit.

Th Process Engineer provides professional services in the implementation of improvement programs at AIDC EC clients that employ industry best practices and ultimately lead towards the EC automotive industry’s global competitiveness.
