The NAACAM Show, hosted in partnership with the AIDC Eastern Cape, was the premier forum to showcase the capabilities of the domestic automotive component manufacturing sector
The 2025 show brought together a diverse group of automotive component manufacturers, public and private sector stakeholders, and service providers under one roof, the NAACAM Show creates a room filled with opportunities.
In doing so, the NAACAM Show plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, networking, and galvanizing the industry around the common ambition of the SA Automotive Masterplan 2035 via:

Enabling skills and technology partnerships to aid the sector’s global competitiveness

Day 1
Golf Day
The NAACAM | AIDC-EC Golf Day, in partnership with Old Mutual and hosted by DG Capital Group.
With over 130 players teeing off at the beautiful Humewood Golf Course in Gqeberha, it was indeed a great day filled with networking and camaraderie.
Day 2
Site Tours
Day 2 of the NAACAM Show 2025 kicked off with insightful site tours, giving delegates an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of South Africa’s automotive component manufacturers and industry stakeholders.
From advanced manufacturing processes to cutting-edge innovations, the tours showcased the province’s critical role in driving growth, transformation, and global competitiveness in the automotive value chain.


Day 3
2025 Conference - 1st Day
NAACAM CEO, Renai Moothilal, officially opened the NAACAM Show 2025 with a warm welcome to all delegates, setting the tone for a week of insight and collaboration.
The programme also featured a keynote address from Nelson Mandela Bay Executive Mayor, Cllr Babalwa Lobishe, and an opening address by Eastern Cape Member of the Executive Council for DEDEAT - Ms Nonkqubela Pieters, as well as ministerial remarks from Minister Nomakhosazana Meth of DEL (Department of Employment and Labour) and Minister Mpho Parks Tau of the DTIC (Department of Trade and Industry).
Day 4
Day 2 of the conference programme got underway at the Boardwalk Hotel with an opening welcome by AIDC Eastern Cape (AIDC-EC) Board Chairperson - Mr Phumzile Zitumane, followed by a welcome address from Eastern Cape Premier, Hon oscar mabuyane. Delegates then heard a ministerial address from Hon Stella Ndabeni Abrahams, Minister of Small Business Development.
The morning’s highlight was the keynote address by Deputy President Hon Paul Mashatile, who emphasised that the automotive sector remains “a backbone of economic growth.”
