Annual Golf Day
The AIDC-EC started its golfing day event as a way to invite the industry and stakeholders to spend the day at the golf course networking at a watering hole or exercising their driving skills on the greens.
The annual golf day is hosted in two parts, there is an East London leg which takes place in the first quarter of the year and then later a Gqeberha leg in the last quarter of the year. These events have grown since they began in 2023 to having sold out all four ball slots available in the 2024 East London Golf day that was held on March 7.
Various industry companies register fourball teams while sponsors grab opportunities to brand a hole and make their presence felt, which allows for a great sporting day while allowing organic conversations to be had by the players who spend the day on the course.
