eNtsa Material Testing

A key pillar of the SAAM 2035 focuses on the growth of small enterprises in the automotive sector, in conjunction with doubling of production numbers. Small businesses can create significant job opportunities in a growing market, however, often the opportunity to grow is hampered by a variety of factors. 


eNtsa Material Testing

One of the factors is the testing of materials or components by an accredited testing facility, that endorses a product to be compliant to international standards. The eNtsa Material Testing and SME Support aims to:

  • Equip and enlarge the testing facility at eNtsa by 1,000m2

  • Support Eastern Cape Automotive Component Localisation with testing services

  • Train youth with Work Integrated Learning (WIL)
