uYilo eMobility Program
As the world transitions towards electric vehicle (EV) technologies at a rapid pace, it’s becoming more imperative for the Eastern Cape province to make sure it keeps up with what’s happening in the automotive market.
One of the key areas in the EV value chain is to ensure the requisite skills are being developed. We have partnered with uYilo to ensure skill development takes place in all areas of e-mobility.
The main objective of this project is to enhance support to the centre of excellence on e-mobility, for SMME incubation and skills training for youth on e-mobility ecosystem.
Objectives:
Establishment of an accredited Training and Development centre in e-mobility
Having youth trained in e-mobility.
Incubation and entrepreneurship of youth in e-mobility ecosystem.
Enterprise development, for SME and HDI’s.
